Meet Mrs. GrabowMy name is Miranda Grabow and this is my 11th year at Kennedy. I absolutely adore first graders and am thrilled to play a role in their growth, both socially and academically. My favorite thing about first grade is seeing students get excited about becoming better readers.
I was born in Alabama, spent my childhood years in Tennessee, and moved to Cottage Grove, MN with my family when I was in 7th grade. My parents still live in Cottage Grove, but the rest of my family is scattered throughout the US! I attended the University of Wisconsin- River Falls and received my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. In 2009, I graduated from St. Mary's University with a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning. When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family. My husband (Jeff) teaches 9th grade science. Our kids (Natalie-5 Bailey-2, Joey-10 months) keep us busy!! We are expecting baby girl to arrive in December 2016! |
